In order to fully maximize the security features of the Blac-Rac system, we strongly recommend using metal, non-folding, non-drop down, semi-permanent trigger guards for AR type weapons. The Blac-Rac Alta Trigger Guard is the ideal solution, providing maximum security for your weapon.
If your weapon has a non-metal or drop-down trigger guard, you can replace it with the Alta Trigger Guard for increased security. Specifically designed for use with the Blac-Rac weapon retention system, the Alta Trigger Guard is machined from solid aircraft-grade aluminum. It has a hard-anodized finish and features an ergonomic shape for use with gloves.
