cold-wire® technology
Cold-Wire® prevents the opening of the lock if the power wires are cut and an external power source is applied to the power wires.
Cold-Wire® is available as an option on all electronic Blac-Rac models or as an upgrade for racks currently in service.
Once installed the transmitter must remain connected to the Blac-Rac in order for the unit to open. If you wish to remove Cold-Wire® the microprocessor must be swapped at an additional cost.
built-in timer
All our electronic models come equipped with a built-in microprocessor that has a programable delay-timer. The standard unlocking cycle time is 8-seconds.
